Wellness Program


Ketchikan Indian Community Pre-diabetes prevention program:

Limited space is available to tribal members

Class is structured for personal attention with a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 12 participants


  * Healthy meals at every class

  * Free Parks & Recreation passes for each class member

Health Benefits may include improvements in:

  * Weight

  * Blood sugars

  * Blood pressure

  * Cholesterol

To Qualify you must be over 18 years of age, have a pre-diabetes diagnosis and never been previously diagnosed with type 1 or type 2 diabetes. Once qualified you will need a physicla exam and a fasting blood test within 30 days of the first class.
