Revitalization & Fluency

The KIC language program seeks to preserve and revitalize the heritage languages of the Tlingit, Haida, and Tsimshian people, in service to the ultimate goal of revitalization: language fluency. This program includes translation and documentation, instructional workshops, classroom courses, apprenticeship and mentor work, and resource and curriculum development, and community language facilitation.
